Summary:

Evie finally has the normal life she’s always longed for. But she’s shocked to discover that being ordinary can be . . . kind of boring. Just when Evie starts to long for her days at the International Paranormal Containment Agency, she’s given a chance to work for them again. Desperate for a break from all the normalcy, she agrees.
But as one disastrous mission leads to another, Evie starts to wonder if she made the right choice. And when Evie’s faerie ex-boyfriend Reth appears with devastating revelations about her past, she discovers that there’s a battle brewing between the faerie courts that could throw the whole supernatural world into chaos. The prize in question? Evie herself.
So much for normal.

Review:

Supernaturally takes place a few months after the ending of Paranormalcy. Evie goes to high school now and Lend College. IPCA still thinks that Evie is dead, but is then discovered not to be and is wanted to work for them again. Going against lend's wishes Evie goes and works with IPCA again along with the new character Jack who can open doors to the Faerie paths. Throughout the book you will learn lots of things about Evie's past and more about what she is and the role the faeries intend for her to have.

The best thing about Supernaturally in my opinion is the main character Evie, I love her she is so funny and creates a great voice of point of view to read from. Evie is very much a girly girl who loves pink but she can still kick paranormal butt. I would have to say Evie is my favourite voice to read from. Kiesrsten's writing has an easy, humorous flow to it that makes it very fun and enjoyable to read. I liked the new character Jack, is like Evie in a way they are both witty and humorous but he got a little annoying at times. The book had a great pace all the way through with no slow or boring parts.

The ending for me was a little to fast, it seems like she was rushing to meet her deadline. As soon as we find out who is trying t manipulate Evie the book is over within 30 page, which include tons of stuff that could have easily fit into 100 or so pages not rushed. I don't know what it is about this book but is wasn't as good as Paranormalcy to me, is was lacking something that paranormalcy had.

I reccomend this book to people who enjoy paranormal books, and a main charcters that is different in a good way tha others in different books. Kiersten White's sereies is a series that many fans of rthe genre will enjoy.

  3. I kind of felt the same way. I really liked this book but it wasn't AS good as Paranormalcy. Evie is still a great character though!
