Beware of a kiss under the full moon. It will change your life forever.
Celeste Parker is used to hearing scary stories about werewolves—Legend's Run is famous for them. She's used to everything in the small town until Brandon Maddox moves to Legend's Run and Celeste finds herself immediately drawn to the handsome new student. But when, after an unnerving visit with a psychic, she encounters a pack of wolves and gorgeous, enigmatic Brandon, she must discover whether his transformation is more than legend or just a trick of the shadows in the moonlight.

Her best friends may never forgive her if she gives up her perfect boyfriend, Nash, for Brandon, who's from the wrong side of town. But she can't deny her attraction or the strong pull he has on her. Brandon may be Celeste's hero, or he may be the most dangerous creature she could encounter in the woods of Legend's Run.

Psychic predictions, generations-old secrets, a town divided, and the possibility of falling in love with a hot and heroic werewolf are the perfect formula for what happens . . . once in a full moon.

Hot boy, secret forbidden love, werewolves. Love it!! I really liked this book, it was a very fast and easy read. This isn't about the actual quality of the book, but I really liked the layout of it, it had a table of contents, and the begining of each chapter had a really neat design, Now on to the book, I liked Celeste as a main character she was really down to earth and kind, and a strong individual. I disliked the friends she hung out with though, but it did show her to be a better person because she wasn't like them. The style of writing was very well done, Ellen Schreiber had a good flow in her writing that made the story easy and fun to read. The werewolf mythology is different than any other wewolf book I have read, and I really enjoyed her take on werewolves it was very well tought out and exicuted. The author did such a great job with the romance in this book, I felt my self fallin in love Brandon along with Celeste, and caring about him more than her boyfriend Nash. But the best thing about this book was the love that Brandon and Celeste have and can't share because they live on different sides of town, and people wouldn't accept their relationship.

The only problems I have with this book is that I think that Celeste had an obsession with Brandon when she baring knew him, and it was a bit wierd for her to have those feelings about that early on. Because of the simplicity of the book it was very easy to predict what would happen later on in the book. I feel like this book is ment to be the indorductory book, instead of having an indrocutory chapter she wrote a whole book. I guess we'll have to see if thats they way she intended it to be or not.
This is definately a book to check out it was easy to read, and was really good, and its also alot different the all the other werewolfs books out there.

Cover: 4/5, I loved this cover it was really beautiful. I loved the trees at the bottom, and Celeste hidden behind her hair in front of a moon. Really stunning :)

  2. Yeah, I totally hated this book. I found Celeste a shallow, horribly saccharine Mary-Sue, her friends one-dimensional, pointless bitches only there to make her look better by comparison and provide the "conflict" for the plot, which should have been a total non-issue, if Celeste had had any spine. THe werewolf transformation was boring and pointless and oh god the writing was quite possibly some of the worst I've ever read in my life. Like a grade-school level.

But yeah, the cover was pretty.
