Review:
Who is Mara Dyer? I'm sure that's the question many are curious to find out. What drew me into and made me want to read this book the the summary, it just sounded amazing and so intriguing. I love the cover too, its very pretty and mysterious. This book did not dispoint it was amazing from beginning to end. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer is now one of my favourite books, and Michelle Hodkins is now a favourite author. Mara Dyer moves to Florida to escape the fact that her friends died in a terrible accident and she is the only survivor. She is determined to find out what really happened that night, and along the way she didn't expect to fall in love, but she does.
This book is really hard to talk about without giving anything away, because you really don't find out whats truly happening in the book until near the end. Which to me is a great method in writing book, I have never seen it executed like Michelle did it. The writing in this book was absolutely amazing, Michelle managed to write a most of a book and leave the reader wondering what is really happening to Mara and what's happening around her, how she survive when her friends didn't, and what does she have to do with it. The characters are also well written, Mara is very unique, and a certain British boy the captures Mara's heart is pretty amazing. This book is 100% unique, I have never read anything like it, it is definite must read. I won't say anymore because I want everyone to be totally surprised so you can really know how brilliant this book is. I can tell you this though when you read the last page you will want the next one. I don't mean to ramble but this book is something else and everyone NEEDS to read this before you die. Go put in on your bucket list!
It deserves 10/5 :P
