Yay it's friday which means, its blog hop day :) Book blogger hop is hosted my Crazy For Books is you wantto part take in the fun!
This weeks question:
Many of us primarily read one genre of books, with others sprinkled in. If authors stopped writing that genre, what genre would you start reading? Or would you give up reading completely if you couldn’t read that genre anymore?”
I mainly read paranormal books, but I don't think I would quit reading if no one wrote Paranormal books amymore. I would definetely read less than I do at the moment though. I would probaly move on to more dystopians and fantasy/Sci-fi stuff.
Q. Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one?
I can't say that I have ever wanted a villain to win at the end of the story. I might have enjoyed that character in a series but I always want them to get what's coming to them in the end.
I love how with books there is always a link with other genres you know?

p.s. Your header is stunning!
It's really great being able to find those elements from a genre like paranormal within other genres. :) I see it in Romance, Historical Fiction, and Urban Literature, too. It's a genre I would miss if it were removed completely. Thank you for sharing and have a lovely weekend!

My Hop!
Hopefully they NEVER stop writing paranormal books, because that would wipe out quite a few, especially in the YA genre, which is one of my favorites! Glad to hear you would have some other genres to fall back on though :)

A World of Personality
I couldn't ever give up reading either. As for villains, I couldn't think of one I'd want to win. I'm not sure if it's a mind block or if there just isn't anyone.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, have a wonderful weekend!

Friday Hops
Long live paranormal! I don't think that genre is going anywhere anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by from the follow.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good weekend.
I love paranormal books, too...the good thing is, there are like a million of them, so if authors ever did stop writing them, you could spend a lifetime going back and reading the older ones! Oh, and I like for villains to get what's coming to them, too. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteParanormal is my first and for most love. And have you read anything by Sherrilyn Kenyon? Her villains are so gray it's amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. Sorry I'm a day late. I like finding bad guys that you want to see good in them rather than the out and out horrible, can't wait for them to die ones.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you can't help but wish the villain to win! Thanks for stopping by! I love your blog, it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNew follower!--totally <3 the fairies!!! :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the villains...Agree! (except for Game of Thrones, which I'm currently reading, because Tyrion totally needs some love).
thanks for stopping by my blog!--Have a great week!!! :)
