Review:

This review really should be written in all caps, but that would get annoying, so I won't do it. Just pretend that it is while reading, so that you can feel the excitement and love that I have for Wings of the Wicked . Let me tell you, this book is AMAZING, in fact that word just doesn't cut it but I can't come up with a better word in the state that the book has left me in (which is turmoil, in a good way)

Wings of the Wicked is a dark YA novel, the content is on the dark side and their is quite a bit of gore, which I personally enjoyed. It's really hard for me to express just how much that I loved this book. It has everything I love, an awesome love triangle with two amazing boys, a strong main character, action packed from start to finish, and a detailed and easy to read writing style. Courtney Allison Moulton is a genius, I really mean it, the plot line and creatures that she has created in this series are out of this word amazing. Life as the Preliator with a bunch of reapers looking to use your to open an ancient evil is no easy job, but some how Ellie manages to stay alive... just barely.

The only two complaints that I can say about this book is that Ellie as a main character all though she is a very strong girl capable of taking care of herself, isn't my favourite main character. She's a bit selfish, and annoying. But in her defence she is really put to the test both emotionally and physically in Wings of the Wicked. I really don't know how she gets out of these situation alive. The other complaint is the unbearable cliffhanger that we are left with!! I don't know how I along with every other fan will be able to wait until the final book in the trilogy. Courtney has put me to the test emotionally and physically much like she did to Ellie in the book.

One thing that I absolutely love about this series, other than it's pure awesomeness, is the two hotties trying to get Ellies attention, Will and Cadan. I love both of these guys to death, I have no clue how a girl can pick between them. If it were me I would choose both and have two husbands. A lot of things are revealed that are surrounded around both of these guys that may just changes your opinion on them if you were able to pick a team.

Clearly I did not do this book justice in this review, I am not capable of it! If you're looking for a book that drags you in so much your heart hurts, than you have found the series. It's so unique and well done that I strongly beleive that no one can be disapointed. Do yoursleves a favour and read Wings of the Wicked or Anglefire if you have not read it yet.

  1. I am not capable of doing this book justice, either. IT WAS SO GOOD. Also, I was SO SAD when that thing happens to Ellie's family (avoiding spoilers FTW.) Such an amazing book, but yeah, I see what you mean about Ellie being selfish. She is at times, but I tolerate her. AND YES, what the crap, Courtney! Why end the book like that!

    great review! :)
